Thick Hair Care-Thick Hair Tips
Thick hair is entirely possible for anyone to have, as long as they follow some basic precautions. For starters, you should stop combing your hair when it is wet. Your hair is at its weakest when it is wet and will definitely break. Always use a good quality comb or brush when combing your hair. Use a wide toothed brush when untangling your hair and avoid brushing very vigorously. You should also avoid tying your hair back since this adds to the strain on your hair roots and the hair shaft and causes it to break. Another thing to remember when caring for your hair is to keep it covered when you go out. This helps protect your hair from the ill effects of the elements and pollution.
Treatment and Vitamins for Thick Hair
Oiling your hair regularly does help in improving the quality of your hair. Use warmed coconut or olive oil to massage your scalp and hair. Soak henna powder in water in which fenugreek seeds have been boiled. Leave this out overnight. In the morning break a raw egg into this and mix well. Also add a few drops of lemon juice to this mixture and apply it to your hair. This hair mask helps condition your hair and promotes hair growth. You can also apply a paste made of soaked fenugreek seeds to your scalp. This prevents dry scalp and helps generate a thick growth of hair. To make other effective hair masks you can use ingredients from your kitchen. Mix some olive oil with some honey and apply this on your hair. Use a shower cap to protect your hair after this application and then wash your hair in half an hour.
