Dull Hair Causes
Dull hair is one of the most common problems that people face. The hair gets its natural shine from an oily substance called sebum which the sebaceous glands underneath the scalp naturally secrete. Dull Hair Remedies and Treatment
Make sure that you leave the yogurt-honey mixture on for at least 30 minutes before you wash it off. You could also make a natural conditioner by mixing two egg yolks and a tablespoon of honey and applying this mixture to your hair and scalp after shampooing, followed by a thorough rinse with water. Massage your scalp and hair with a mixture of equal amounts of fresh lemon juice and olive oil. This too is an effective treatment for dull dry or lifeless hair.
A popular way of bringing back the shine to dull hair is to soak your hair from the roots to the tips in beer or apple cider vinegar 10 minutes before shampooing it. For another remedy, massage your scalp with warm coconut oil and follow this up by applying avocado paste on the tips of your hair. Leave it on for an hour before washing your hair. This strengthens the roots of the hair and makes hair look lustrous.
